These are the two Tamiya tanks I’ve built. The first I ever built was the 56008 King Tiger Porsche Turret. It’s the early kit, so doesn’t have sound, or rotating turret and all the special parts. I have installed a turret rotation unit and electronics from a Heng Long tank.
The second I built is the 56015 Pershing. This is the full option version, with sounds and lights and all the bangs and whistles. The build for the Pershing took a good week of working in the evening after I came home from work. I have yet to completely detail the body work, as I moved house after I finished the main part of the build.
